Biography & Background
Dr Chikumbusko Chiziwa Kaonga holds a PhD in Environmental Dynamics and Management from Hiroshima University, Japan; MSc (Environmental Science) from University of Malawi; and also BSc (Environmental Science and Technology) from University of Malawi. He has worked with University of Malawi, The Polytechnic for more than 19 years. He has taught Environmental Science courses including Environmental Chemistry and Wastewater Treatment among others to both undergraduate and postgraduate students. He holds vast expertise in the sampling of soil, water and air including analysis, assessment and data interpretation for environmental samples. Dr. Kaonga has published widely in his area of expertise and also made conference presentations both locally and internationally. He has also been involved in a number of consultancies in his area of expertise.
