Patrick is a Lecturer of Law in the newly introduced Department of Law and Economics within the School of Business and Economic Sciences.

He is a holder of a Master in Intellectual Property (2016) from Africa University (Zimbabwe), LLB (Hons) (2012) and a BA (Humanities) (2008) bias in Drama/Development Communication with minor in Psychology and Philosophy from University of Malawi, Chancellor College then, in Malawi

In addition to his academic qualification he have also been working as a Law Lecturer since September, 2020. Patrick's previous working experience has been in the Ministry of Justice (State Advocate Chambers) (2012-2013) as Senior State Advocate, Malawi Legal Aid Bureau (2013-2017) as Senior Legal Aid Advocate and later as Principal Legal Aid Advocate as well as University of Malawi, Faculty of Law (2017-2020) as Legal Clinic Coordinator and as well as Managing a law practice named Adrian & Company (since February, 2020) .

Patrick is married to Florence and together they have three lovely kids named Nokhakhelha, Norelha and Nokotelha aka PJ. They are dedicated members of CCAP- Chinamwali Church (Zomba)
