Research Interests
Computer Systems Engineering, Embedded Systems Engineering.
I joined the Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences (MUBAS) in March 2023 as a Staff Associate in the Department of Electrical Engineering. Since joining the institution, I have been involved in teaching undergraduate modules in the areas of Microprocessor Technology, Computer Organisation and Design, Digital Electronics, Real-Time Systems, Embedded Systems, and Data Communication Systems. I am also actively involved in supervising final-year research and design projects, guiding students to apply theoretical concepts to practical engineering solutions.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Computer Engineering, which I obtained from the Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences in 2022. My academic and professional experience have cultivated a strong passion for Computer Systems Engineering and Embedded Systems, particularly in exploring how microprocessor-based technologies can be applied to improve local industries, agriculture, and communication systems.

My research interest lies in designing and developing efficient embedded and computer systems tailored to resource-constrained environments like Malawi. I am particularly motivated to explore innovations that enhance automation, energy efficiency, and real-time monitoring systems for sustainable development.

As I pursue postgraduate studies, my goal is to deepen my expertise in computer systems and embedded technologies so that I can contribute more effectively to research, teaching, and innovation within MUBAS. I aspire to take up greater responsibilities such as project coordination, curriculum development, and research leadership to strengthen the institution’s contribution to Malawi’s technological advancement.

Outside my academic work, I enjoy engaging in electronics design projects and commercial farming, which often inspire ideas for practical engineering solutions to local challenges.
