Ms. Gladys C Banda

Ms. Gladys Chimwemwe Banda is a staff associate in chemistry at Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences. She holds an MSc in Chemistry from University of The South Pacific, Fiji, an MSc in Applied Chemistry from the University of Malawi, and a BED (Science) in Chemistry from the University of Malawi. Her areas of interest in research are Natural Product Chemistry, and Environmental Chemistry (Waste management). Ms. Banda is presently working on risk assessment of municipal solid waste dumpsites and has conducted research on the Antimycobacterial activities of extracts from certain Malawian plants.
