➢ 2022 August up to date- Skills Lab Manager Malawi University of Business and
Applied Sciences, Blantyre.
Duties:
• Manage Inventory
• Manage User Tracking Systems
• Train Skills Lab members on high-level equipment
• Train Skills Lab Student Assistants on equipment
• Support Lab members with their projects
• Develop Skills Lab programming
• Work on one primary project with the goal of implementing a pilot trial
• Perform regular maintenance on equipment as needed
• Support the Skills Lab Technician(s) as needed
• Work with faculty to develop programming for courses
• Holding workshops to demonstrate the use of software and equipment

Duties:
• Fixing and maintaining of the laser cutter machines
• Undertake face shields manufacturing and assembly activities
• Package manufactured face shields as needed
• Operate, maintain, and clean manufacturing equipment in accordance with guideline.
• Perform routine monitoring/cleaning required in the production environments
• Conduct in-process inspections to assure products meet quality specifications
• Clean and sterilize glassware and production materials as needed
• Correctly identify all abnormal components and notify the superior

(Mzimba)
Duties:
• Maintenance/Creating Innovating projects
• Providing teachings on environmental technical presentations
• Conducting safety, health, and environmental inspection
• Regulating and Monitoring mining and processing activities
• Project management (designing, planning and implementation i.e., WASH,
Constructions, and Innovations)
• Monitoring the performance of biomedical equipment
• Calibration, Maintenance and installation of biomedical equipment, haematology,

➢ 2020 March up to 2020 July –
• Designed and tested a low-cost ventilator in response to Covid-19 alongside with 7
Biomedical engineers under a Malawi Government initiative through Malawi
University of Business and Applied Sciences
• Designed and flew drones using locally available materials in the design studio along
a group of final year engineering students.
➢ 2019 October up to 2020 January – Biomedical Engineer with Queens Elizabeth
Central Hospital (Blantyre)
Duties:
• Carried out installation, calibration, and testing of medical equipment
• Designed and manufactured artificial limbs and other supporting devices
• Conducted medical device user trainings to the nurses and the use of liquid oxygen.
• Carried out maintenance of medical/hospital equipment, ECG, Oxygen
Concentrators, Oxygen plant, Nebulizers, Light Microscope, Suction Machine,
Sterilizers, BP machines, Monitoring machines, Ultrasound devices, X-Ray
machines and film processor, Lab Equipment.
• Updated the Computerized Equipment Inventory and Management Software
Monitored and managed the hospital oxygen plant.
• Learnt how drone technology deliver medicinal and drug samples

in response to the Covid-19 virus pandemic currently underway at the Polytechnic
Design studio.
