Abstract

Energy is an important resource to mankind. Energy is linked with health and progress of the society. With energy being at the center of our future, optimizing its harness and consumption is of at most importance to mankind. This study covers statistical analysis and mathematical modelling including machine learning models to better predict the energy generation of hydropower plant. The data used in this analysis were obtained from Tedzani Tnzani 1 and 2 hydro- power plant (2012–18), Malawi in collaboration with Dr. Kayalvizhi Jayavel, Department of NWC, SCO, SRMIST and Kambombo Mtonga, University of Rwanda.
